"Sea world's ban on orca shows should be just the start of changes" is an opinional editorial discussing Sea Worlds breeding program. This article is from the La Times by a Contact Reporter on November 9,2015. Sea World captures endangered orcas and keeps them in a small isolated tank. The orcas suffer inside because they are kept restrained and are expected to act properly around humans. The opinion being stated in the article suggest that Seaworld should end this breeding program and save the tanks for animals that cannot survive in the wild. Sea world officials are discussing now how they are going to continue the lifestyle for orca whales.

Written by Jim cole (October 25,2015) discusses the central claim about the drug abuse occurring in our state. The overdose has increased and effecting teens today. The suggestion of introducing kids into drugs at a young age is important so they can know at a young age the consequences of an overdose. By being introduced to this at a young age, once kids are teens or young adults, they become discouraged to try any drug. The article also addresses the issue that the Obama administration will be starting a campaign for the over use of prescription drugs and heroin. This will not only help out teens, but others as well about the conflict.

"Oregon community college gunman 'left behind manifesto" BBC News, by US Canada, ( 6 October 2015), Man suffering from Asperger's syndrome kills himself and his classmates at Oregon Community college.

Chris Harper was a student and Oregon community college that killed himself and his classmates in a clashroom, he suffered from Asperger's syndrome and often carried weapons. Nine people were killed  in the college. Reasons why he did this is not yet known but he did complain about not having a girlfriend. A survivor explains that a flash drive was given to him. The gunman forced the survivor to watch his class mates die and deliver an envelope of flash drives to the police after. The gunman lived with his mother that suffered the same condition he did and said that he was kicked out of the army because he couldn't complete basic training. President Obama visited the families of the victims and relatives of the victims to help them through this hard time.

The article" European migrant crisis: A country -by- country glance", CNN, by Laura Smith, (September 6,2015), informs the readers about the current European migrant crisis.
Citizens from Syria are migrating to European countries because of the current Civil War. Large amounts of migrants are coming in because they cannot take the violence and want a safe environment for their families. Thousands are being killed daily because of weapons, gases, and bombs being used. Some European countries do agree to help out these people because they are in need of shelter and food. Other's are annoyed of these upcoming Syrians and offer no help. A couple from Greece that lives nearby a shore often see's these people in need of help, when arriving through boats; but does nothing to help them, accept talk to them rudely. They are worried of the sicknesses they might carry from sea and inside the boats.
